Is there parking available?

There are minimal parking spaces available and will be on a first come first served basis. There is plenty of on street parking around Chorlton Park however, we advise to come on public transport or recommend carpooling as there is limited parking around the area.

The nearest stations to Chorlton Park are:

Barlow Moor Road Metrolink (Stop B) is 183 meters away, 4 min walk.

Cundiff Road is 324 meters away, 5 min walk.

Chorlton is 539 meters away, 8 min walk.

St Werburgh's Road tram stop is 550 metres

Where can I sign up for the colour run?

We will provide forms on the day where you are able to sign up to participate in the colour run.

Question 4

Is there an age limit for Elements?

Accepted Answer

Elements is suitable for all ages.

For Elements colour play all under 16 must be accompanied by a guardian.

Question 5

How long is the colour run?

Accepted Answer

The course is approximately 1k long, twice around the track. However, please note that the final distance may vary depending on the venue, terrain and weather conditions.

Before the colour run begins, participants will be ushered to the starting block at 2:30pm.

What is the Colour Powder made of?

Accepted Answer

Corn starch and natural vegetable, cosmetic or food-grade dyes.

Colour powder is non-flammable and non-toxic

Question 7

Is there anywhere to keep my personal belongings?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately, there will be no locker area where you can leave your bags and advise that you always keep your belongings on you at all times. This is to prevent any loss of items and security measures.

How do I clean up after I’ve finished the course?

Accepted Answer

We recommend bringing a change of clothes and a bag to store these in as it can become quite colourful!

There will be toilets on site that will be accessible during the event.

Question 9

What should I wear to the colour play/run?

Accepted Answer

If you are taking part in the colour run, we suggest comfortable clothing and running shoes.

Light coloured clothing is recommended, to make the colour pop, however, not required.

Do not wear anything with sharp edges that might cause injury to other participants.

Question 10

Can I participate if I am pregnant or I have some health issues?

Accepted Answer

There will be medical provision on site however, each person is responsible for their own safety and those under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

What if it rains?

As you know Manchester weather can be unpredictable! We will be monitoring the weather in the run up to the event, and notify all ticket holders in advance

I am unable to attend the event, can I get my money back?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately, we can only offer refunds under exceptional circumstances. This will be decided on a case-by-case basis.

Is Elements accessible?

Accepted Answer

We have to make the event as accessible as possible. There are pathways all around the park for wheelchair access. Please note that the event is taking place on a field. Accessible toilets will be available on site.
